Nutritional care

Since many years, nutritional care has played an important role and the hospital has been leading the way. The cooperation with Wageningen University enables the hospital to broaden its knowledge, and to put new insights in a scientific perspective. This helps drive our ambition to be the Nutrition Hospital in the Netherlands. Nutrition is our joint interest.

New knowledge

There is a need for new insights in the interactions of nutrition and drugs, vitamin deficiencies in intestinal diseases, anorexia in cancer and the relationship between nutrition and cognition in geriatric patients. The various research programs in both the hospital and the university work on these fields.
